The season finale is almost here — Mark is racing back to Earth, and so should you be racing to find your perfect cosplay look.
A Season of Wars, Betrayals, and Heartbreaks
Season 4 adapts the famous storyline known as the Viltrumite War — the final climactic event between the Coalition of Planets and the Viltrum Empire. The season focuses on the aftermath of the Invincible War and Mark Grayson's fight with Conquest, while Mark's father Nolan returns to Earth, and they, along with Mark's brother Oliver, join the Coalition of Planets in the Viltrumite War.
During Episode 7, the Coalition of Planets — including Omni-Man, Mark, Oliver, Allen, Tech Jacket, Thaedus, and Battle Beast — chase after Grand Regent Thragg and the remaining Viltrumites back to planet Viltrum. By the end of the episode, the woes of the Viltrumites were only multiplied, with Thaedus, Mark, and Nolan — aided by Space Racer — destroying Viltrum itself.
📅 Episode 8 Release Date
Invincible Season 4 Episode 8, titled "Don't Leave Me Hanging Here", will premiere on Wednesday, April 22, at 3:00 a.m. ET / 12:00 a.m. PT. As it's the final episode of the season, expect a packed runtime of around 53 minutes.
🔮 Predictions & Expectations
With the Viltrumite War heading to Earth, the finale is likely to change the show's status quo. If Thragg and the Viltrumites reach Earth, the stakes shift to full-scale planetary survival. This battle forces both Omni-Man and Mark to face their heritage head-on while protecting Debbie, Eve, and the rest of the family.
Season 5 is already confirmed for 2027, with plans for up to nine seasons!
